Barrie Beard Ltd was appointed to deliver a comprehensive electrical package for Dassault Systèmes, working alongside main contractor Area. The project required a high-quality installation to support a modern, technology-driven workspace, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability. 

 

The scope of works included the full design and installation of the lighting and emergency lighting systems. A carefully considered lighting scheme was implemented to provide a well-balanced, comfortable working environment while ensuring full compliance with current regulations. The emergency lighting system was seamlessly integrated to enhance occupant safety and provide resilience in the event of power failure. 

 

In addition, Barrie Beard Ltd carried out the installation of small power throughout the workspace, ensuring flexibility and accessibility to meet the demands of a dynamic office layout. A robust electrical distribution system was also delivered, designed to support the building’s operational requirements both now and in the future. 

 

Fire safety was a key priority, with a fully compliant fire alarm system installed to protect occupants and the building. The system was designed to integrate effectively with the overall electrical infrastructure, providing reliable detection and response capabilities. 

 

Delivered in collaboration with Area, the project was completed to a high specification, providing Dassault Systèmes with a safe, efficient, and future-ready working environment aligned with their global standards.
