Spie Data Centre

Barrie Beard completed works on numerous data centres in South Wales over a three-year period working under main contractors SPIE. 

 

The client had taken over a very large existing building that used to manufacturer semi-conductor parts. This abandoned building was bought back to life around 10 years ago by Next Generation Data and it has slowly been converted into one of the largest data centres in Europe. 

 

Due to the building being existing each data centre was bespoke and built specifically to the requirements of various high-end clients. Due to our successful delivery of the electrical package on our first data centre we completed 7 more halls along with a vast amount of enabling works. We built a fantastic working relationship with SPIE and have worked on them with various projects since.
