Severn Fields Health Facility

 

The three-storey building, which covers a total of 6,700 square metres, includes rooms for GP consulting, GP training, treatments, counselling, phlebotomy, podiatry, audiology and minor operations. It also includes a large pharmacy. 

 

Barrie Beard Ltd installed over 400 metres of anti-microbial Profila / Compact data cable trunking throughout, to manage the power and data cabling requirements. This trunking is designed specifically for use in environments such as hospitals, medical centres, schools and nursing homes. The anti-microbial solution incorporates silver ion technology and has shown a reduction in levels of bacteria on surfaces by up to 99%. The lighting installed was environmentally friendly using high efficiency lighting throughout the building.
