Set to deliver vital healthcare facilities in the Midlands
Grand opening of the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Smethwick, it has officially opened its doors to the public!
Barrie Beard Ltd are extremely proud to have played a role in this fantastic landmark facility. The state-of-the-art hospital covers an area of 85,924m over nine floors providing 700 beds, an emergency department, 13 theatres, diagnostic suites, labs as well as research and education centres. This project has been rewarding to work on which has resulted being one of the best acute hospitals within the UK.

Barrie Beard Ltd was responsible for the energy centre, facilities management, mortuary, and external lighting areas within Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.
