Impressive new high specification Head Quarters for IM Properties in Shirley
Completed in August 2019, this high-specification development comprised four distinct elements, delivering a modern and versatile campus environment.
At its centre is a new three-storey headquarters for IM Properties, designed to provide a contemporary and flexible workspace. A standout feature is the use of smart glazing to the second-floor offices, allowing the windows to switch from clear to opaque at the touch of a button, offering enhanced privacy without compromising natural light.
The scheme also includes a dedicated training academy, equipped with specialist training rooms, vehicle ramps, and workshop facilities to support hands-on learning and development. In addition, a separate building was constructed to accommodate the IM Properties charitable organisation, Christian Vision, providing them with a purpose-built base.
Externally, the project was complemented by a comprehensive lighting scheme, incorporating feature lighting to ponds, fountains, and sculptures, enhancing the overall aesthetic and creating an engaging environment across the site.
Barrie Beard Ltd’s scope of work included
Lighting & emergency lighting installation to all areas including open plan office space, meeting rooms, gym, commercial kitchen, bespoke breakout areas, rooftop putting green, bridge walkway, workshop academy & services compound.
