This prestigious new drama school in Hammersmith London has previously seen many famous alumni, including Beneditct Cumberbatch, David Suchet and Hermione Norris.
This new building delivers both study and performance spaces on one site for the first time in LAMDA’s 150 year history. LAMDA is a leading drama school with a global reputation, offering vocational training to the actors, stage managers, technicians, directors, and designers of the future.
The new 5,500m2 building provides a 200 seat theatre, flexible 120 seat studio theatre, backstage facilities, a soundproofed TV/film/audio suite, a teaching block with 10 studios, student changing facilities, administrative offices, library and study centre.

Dan Ingram (BB Contracts Manager) worked on a Project in West London LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) from 2015 to 2017, where he was responsible for procuring and supervising the installation of the Electrical work and to supervise the Mechanical installation which formed part of a sub-contract package for Barrie Beard Ltd.
The project involved the construction of a 3 storey Teaching block which consisted of 10 Studios with various offices and meeting room. There was also Studio Theatre and Main Auditorium Theatre complete with fly tower.
Dan was very cooperative with working with our Site Managers regarding to site coordination, deliveries and arranging the correct level of resource for the project.
Dan was very proactive, and his enthusiasm assisted in driving the project forward. I personally had a very good working relationship and we managed to deliver a very difficult project with very little snags and defects."
