Barrie Beard Ltd completed of the state-of-the-art Cyber Quarter: Midlands Centre for Cyber Security in Hereford, a flagship scheme for the University of Wolverhampton in 2020.
The centre provides a three storey research space and teaching building for the University of Wolverhampton’s Cyber Security Research Institute and includes tenanted office space for up to 20 local cyber security businesses.
A full height glass atrium provides a dual break-out space and function hall, alongside the main three storey building that hoses business suites, innovation rooms, IT workshops and a ‘Cyber Range’ – a cutting edge facility that will defend against the global rise of hacking.
Barrie Beard Ltd have been entered into a National Award for the Digital Construction CE West Awards regarding this project.
