Project Overview

Barrie Beard has been appointed by BAM Construction to deliver the electrical installation for the new Digbeth Loc. Studios development in Birmingham's Digbeth district.

The development will provide a brand-new studio complex for the production of the BBC's MasterChef series and represents an important first step in the wider regeneration of the Warwick Bar area, supporting its transformation into a new creative quarter for Birmingham.

Project Scope

Barrie Beard is responsible for delivering the electrical infrastructure and services throughout the new studio development, working closely with BAM Construction and the wider project team to coordinate the installation within a highly specialist production environment.

The project requires careful planning and coordination to accommodate the technical requirements of a modern television studio, while maintaining the programme and quality standards expected on a major Tier 1 construction project.
