Enormous hangar to house one of the world's biggest planes
Barrie Beard Ltd have completed the electrical installation at the new Monarch Hangar at Birmingham International Airport.
The enormity of the hangar is such that it can fit 4 full-size football pitches or 450 double-decker buses inside. It is the only hangar in the country to have space for maintenance of one of the world’s biggest planes, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
