National Apprenticeship Week 2026

For National Apprenticeship Week 2026, we’re proud to celebrate apprenticeships at Barrie Beard Electrical.

Pictured here are Jake and Wyatt, our newly employed apprentices who are already making fantastic progress in their training, standing alongside John Barnes — Barrie’s very first apprentice and now company Director.

Supporting and developing the next generation of electricians has always been at the heart of Barrie Beard Ltd. Barrie was a passionate advocate for apprenticeships and firmly believed in providing young people with the training, mentorship, and opportunities needed to succeed. That commitment continues to shape who we are today.

Each year, we welcome new apprentices from the local area, offering hands-on site experience backed by structured learning. By working closely with schools, colleges, and training providers, we help apprentices build the skills, confidence, and foundations for long-term careers within the electrical industry.
