On 27th April 2013 Directors Warren Beard & Wayne Bedford, Electrician Graham Knowles and PV & Contracts Manager Daniel Neilson (plus Wayne’s daughter Melissa Bedford & Graham’s daughter Anna Hunt) will don their hiking boots and walk 40 miles in one day for two great charities, Bromsgrove’s Primrose Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Two of our long serving electricians recently lost their wives to cancer and to show our support to Graham and Gareth, plus others who have been affected by cancer, the six have been building up the miles each weekend until the BIG 40 mile walk on Saturday 27th April 2013.

Feckenham 40 is an annual event organised by Superdream, and this year Barrie Beard Ltd are joining too, along with a team of over 30 walkers they will leave The Rose and Crown pub in Feckenham at 7am. The gruelling 40 mile route will travel through 20 Worcestershire villages including Hanbury, Stoke Prior and Inkberrow.

The walkers are currently looking for volunteers to man feeding stations and drive support vehicles on the day, Barrie Beard Ltd and Superdream would also love people to walk the final 5 miles with them, They expect to be at the top of Dagtail Lane at approximately 3.30pm.
