BB LTD DONATE KITCHEN TO NARTHEX FOODBANK IN SPARKHILL

Barrie Beard Ltd were pleased to donate a kitchen to the Narthex Foodbank in Sparkhill, Birmingham.  Wates Construction were involved in building a heated room inside an exceptionally cold factory unit, the aim being, to keep volunteers warm when they are distributing food for people most needy in Birmingham.

The ‘Make a Difference’ campaign is supported by BBC Radio WM who, on 23rd April 2018 visited the unit in Tyseley to interview David Mosedale from Wates.  Whilst live on air, news filtered through to BBC WM’s reporter, Richie Anderson, that Barrie Beard Ltd had donated a kitchen and we were given ‘a mention’ and thanked twice live on air by all concerned.

5,400 people visited the foodbank in 2017.
