Amy Flemming, Fundraiser, Primrose Hospice says “We are thrilled that the team at Barrie Beard Ltd. Are once again taking on a huge challenge for Primrose Hospice. Following the brave skydive in 2018 where the team raised a phenomenal £3,500.00, we are so excited to see how the team get on this year with their 3 Peaks Challenge.Primrose Hospice must raise over £1.7million annually and the majority of this comes from our incredibly supportive community so we are so grateful for the dedicated support of local businesses like Barrie Beard Ltd. for raising money and awareness of such an important charity. Primrose Hospice is there when people need it most and all of its services are free for people and their families living with life-limiting illnesses. But we must continue to fund raise to make sure we are able to offer those services for free.”
Charlie Ely, Events Fundraising Assistant,Target Ovarian Cancer says “A huge thank you to everyone at Barrie Beard who has been fundraising for Target Ovarian Cancer with the national Three Peaks Challenge, particularly to those who will be undergoing this intense 24-hour trek! These generous efforts will help to transform the futures of the more than 25,000 women in the UK who are living with ovarian cancer, and thousands more who are yet to be diagnosed. This support will help to fund a unique face-to-face support programme, a nurse-led support line, improvements in early diagnosis and a national ovarian cancer research programme.”
