The Grand Pier - Weston-super-Mare

HRH The Pricess Royal introduced to Wayne Bedford, Director
Barrie Beard Ltd secured this contract in October 2009. The project involved the complete design and installation of all elements which are detailed below. The lighting installation consisted of a touch-screen computer which controlled and dimmed the luminaires throughout the pier, either individually or in groups. The pavilion itself was not physically/mechanically attached to the pavilion deck, which entailed a 50mm deflection between the two structures. This created design issues regarding containments and cabling.
Small power consisted of supplies to each games machine, rides/attractions, kitchen facilities and general socket outlets..
