Barrie Beard Ltd worked with Pellikaan Construction on new leisure centre. It has a state of the art ‘Olympic Legacy’ Swimming Pool, its stainless steel panel pool has become the new 25 metre main pool at the Leisure Centre. It was one of nine swimming pools used across London by the Olympic and Paralympic Athletes during the 2012 games, which were dismantled after the games. The inclusion of this pool in the new Sparkhill Leisure Centre represents a fantastic opportunity for the community, and will see the Olympic Legacy continued within Birmingham.
