Barrie Beard were involved in the electrical and mechanical design and installation of this three storey office refurbishment for facilities company OCS. The office building has new lighting throughout with LED colour changing feature lighting to the reception and dining areas. Two of the meeting rooms have audio visual smartboards fitted and cabling has been installed to cater for up to a further four smartboards
In one of the meeting rooms ‘smart glass’ has been installed, at the push of a button the interior glass smokes over to create privacy.

Barrie Beard Ltd have carried out the electrical services associated with the House of Fraser retail store refurbishment. This contract involved complete new lighting and feature lighting to retail floor areas, Offices, Stockrooms and Private Shopper Areas, power supplies & data containment for till points and modifications to the existing fire alarm system.
The store is located within the prestige MK Centre.

Barrie Beard Ltd were involved in the electrical and mechanical design and installation at Hoe Valley Community Centre. The community building was sub metered and divided into the following areas: Westfield Football Club, Boxing Club, Guides and Sea Rangers, District Scouts, 7th Scouts and Army and Air Cadets - complete with a shooting range.
The community building has a newly laid football pitch with lighting to FA standards on 18 metre columns, together with flood lit training facilities. Within the halls are luminaires which can be raised or lowered for ease of maintenance.
The building was designed to a BREEM excellence standard using a district combined heating and power unit (CHP)

Barrie Beard Ltd carried out the design and installation of the mechanical and electrical services of Capita's state-of-the-art offices, conference and data centres. The famous building has been occupied by Services Birmingham (Birmingham City Council) and has been equipped with 16 large training / conference rooms, many smaller meeting areas, a 200-seater kitchen / canteen area, an open-plan call centre housing approximately 450 people, and 2 data centres.
